From Mel in Charmed to Prudence in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina to Josie in Legacies, LGBTQ+ witch characters have been casting spells on us through our TV screens over the past few years. And a similar magical surge has been happening on our bookshelves, with the publishing company Tor Books proclaiming us officially in “the Season of the Witch” earlier this year. “I dare say that queer YA is finally big enough to have its own trends, and this past couple of years, there’s nothing we’ve seen rise further and faster than teenage witches in a whole rainbow of orientations and genders,” author and book blogger Dahlia Adler wrote for Tor.com in February.

If queer, witchy YA is exactly what you’re looking for, you can fill your bookshelves with titles like the epic fantasy series Brooklyn Brujas by Zoraida Córdova, the high school romance novel/paranormal adventure These Witches Don’t Burn by Isabel Sterling, and the graphic novel Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker and Wendy Xu. If nonfiction is more your thing, check out titles like Initiated: Memoir of a Witch by Amanda Yates Garcíaor Queer Magic: LGBT+ Spirituality and Culture from Around the World by Tomás Prower. Finally, those who want to practice magick themselves can pick up spellbooks by queer authors, like Ariel Gore‘s Hexing the Patriarchy or Cassandra Snow’s Queering Your Craft.

Wishing everyone has a much better 2021 than the debacle of 2020

Sandra and Nicole are heading back from a sales conference when they are stranded in a huge snow storm.

Nicole is Sandra’s boss. The two of them were heading back from a very successful business trip when a huge snow storm traps them several hours from home. Quick thinking on Nicole’s part they find shelter in a home that is only occasionally used by Nicole’s brother.

Freezing cold, wet clothes and near exhaustion force the two to strip down and take comfort in front of the inviting fireplace. Nicole tends to the damp and wet clothes and the two settle in to ride out the storm together. After a few glasses of wine and the rigors of the day the two decide to head off to bed.

Since there is only one bed and a postage stamp sized couch. Unabashedly, Nicole climbs into bed with Sandra, in the buff. Shocking the sexy administrative assistant. CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES OF FORBIDDEN LOVE

Serena finds a journal from 1930 that her partner Janine has uploaded on their laptop, ultimately raising questions about Janine’s past.

Serena, Janine’s partner accidently finds the journal while using her partner’s laptop and quizzes Janine about the contents. The pictures, Janine identifies quickly for her partner, but as for the journal she has yet to read it. Much to her puzzled partners consternation.

Afraid of what she will find, Janine has put off reading the journal, and it takes Serena’s coaxing to convince her it’s her duty to learn as much about her grandmother Sarah as she can, mainly because she raised her in her mother’s absence.

Serena has always been comfortable with her lifestyle. Janine, though identifying as gay, still has nagging fears and doubts about her lifestyle choices. These stem from her mother’s hatred of her sister’s, Janine’s Aunt Teresa, lesbianism from the early thirties. Her mother’s harsh attitude has scarred Janine and consequently has always refused to confront her demons, regarding her long dead mother’s opinions.

Evelyn and Selena put the customer off as long as they could, until frustrated the customer drags her spouse into the shop and stuns Selena to the core. It seems that Marion, the clients spouse, is not a he rather Marion is a she! Things obviously take a turn to the wild side and it leaves Selena’s reputation unsullied and her bank account a little fatter.

In ‘Batwoman’ Season 2 Trailer

The new season starts Sunday, January 17.

I am really excited about the return of Batwoman. If you haven’t watched yet catch it this coming January.

Another promo has been released for the upcoming second season of the CW’s Batwoman, and Javicia Leslie’s Ryan Wilder is looking like exactly the hero we want and need.

The promo mostly shows Wilder wearing the original batsuit, created for Ruby Rose’s Kate Kane, but we also get to see the new batsuit in action, as well as a new Batmobile with the red Batwoman logo on it.

At the beginning of the promo, we see those who were close to Kate Kane, the original woman to wear the cowl, talk about how she went missing, and how Gotham needs a Batwoman. This is where Wilder steps in.

“Give me a chance,” she says. When she finally puts on the batsuit, we hear a voiceover of Wilder. “Time to be powerful,” she says and shivers shoot down my spine. This is the Batwoman we’ve been waiting for.

This promo also gives us our first meeting of Wilder and Alice, the series’ “big bad,” with the villain saying “I met the new girl, she’s gonna be a… handful.” The sister dynamic between Kane and Alice was a huge part of the show, and the villain’s main motivation, so it will be interesting to see how Alice deals with having to fight a Batwoman she’s not related to.

Back in September, at the DC FanDome Batwoman panel, showrunner Caroline Dries said that this season will see Ryan Wilder step into the middle of the Batwoman universe we already know.

“Ryan, will ironically, ultimately, unite the Kane family,” Dries said. “There are all of these strands of connection that she brings to them.” It’s going to be exciting seeing that finally happen.

It’s running Friday, December 18 through January 1, 2021. They are opening the sale before Christmas this year to accommodate more digital gifting.

Elena and seven of her girlfriends planned to spend a relaxing time for the Holidays in a cozy cabin in the mountains, then the Nor’easter hit, changing everything.

There is a sufficient supply of food, booze and water but it isn’t long and boredom sets in. Tired of card games, board games and reading; the eight women come up with a novel and rather erotic idea to entertain themselves for the duration. They may not want to leave when help arrives.
