Bette received an invitation and RSVP’d within minutes to the Women’s Halloween Havoc Party. The invite struck a nerve. Bette pulled out the invitation and looked it over one more time, reading the women’s only comment, grinning from ear to ear as she read it out loud. And her hubby will be out of town.

One of the city’s largest clerical offices employs a high ratio of women to men and therefore a lot of the socializing doesn’t include the male employees. The usual parties: New Years, 4th of July, Labor Day and the most popular of all, The Women’s Halloween Havoc Party. One of the hosts secured a southern mansion about twenty minutes south of Cincinnati for the event. Only women, costumes and wrestling. Plus, lots of surprises.
Bette an an employee at the office was invited, but unlike the majority of the female employees she is married and rarely gets to attend. This year however, her hubby will be out of town on that night, and she eagerly submitted her RSVP the minute she got it. The party’s Halloween theme was characters from Wildstorm Universe Productions later sold to DC comics. The female characters from the comics are more on the ‘erotic’ side than Marvel.
The evening started off with quite a surprise as Bette was wearing the same costume as another woman. Bette’s girlfriend Morgan made a big deal about it and did everything she could to instigate an impromptu catfight before the main entertainment got underway. The host of the party though it a superb idea and made arrangements for the two ladies to have a go at it. The winner got to wear her costume and the loser did not. Yes, loser was unclothed!
