Randi Shepard and her husband Brad were celebrating New Year’s apart this year. That thought alone served to fire her growing anger and feeling that he simply took her for granted and paid her no mind most of the time. Becca Johnson had been her father’s Lawyer and now represented Randi and her sister anytime they needed legal counsel. She firmly believed Randi should leave Brad but stopped short of pushing her to do so.
Pulled from her lamentations of her marriage when Randi’s eyes stopped on someone in a tux. It took her a moment to realize it was a woman. She was tall, easily as tall as her husband, maybe taller. By no means fat, but big boned with wide shoulders and a heavy musculature. She wore a tailored tuxedo that fit her body and had long blonde hair, pulled tightly back into French braid. The gorgeous woman stirred Randi’s libido.
Her friend Tressa noticed Randi staring across the room at the formidable woman and told her to invite her over. Tressa told Randi that the woman, Sam, was lesbian. Randi seemed to flinch, but Tressa told her she’d known her for several years and she was good people. Randi smiled unsurely and started to stand but sat back down.
