When Rikki turned eighteen, her parents set up a trust fund, making her wealthy beyond her imagination and left her to fend for herself. Never happy with the trappings of wealth she moved from the East Coast and bought a house on the West Coast that caught her fancy. The rumors surrounding the house only served as an incentive to live there. It was last owned by a women infamous for her work with alchemy, and magic, and other-worldly pursuits. In short order, Rikki is unknowingly controlled by the mysterious house and the things she discovers serve to deepen her curiosity.
Beginning with the rare journal left by the previous owner to the alien a race of beings called Damianas. A trip to the cavernous basement only made things even more confusing. In the basement Rikki discovers a plethora of ancient technology, and a unique pool of clear bubbling viscous liquid. When she tests the temperature of the pool it sucks her into the liquid causing to black out. When she wakes, the reality of the life changing events that are happening becomes clear.
