Taz thinks to herself the haughty attitude of the Traveler needs taken down a peg or two, letting her know this is the Centurion’s city and not some supposed messenger from her ladyship Empress Jacquilyn.

The Centurion clears the hall where she is holding her meeting and locks the doors. Fearing any harsh treatment given the traveler, if witnessed by others could prove disastrous. Once alone Jylyn is subjected to the Centurion’s wrath but doesn’t break. This fact bodes well for the messenger, because only a royal warrior of the Empress could withstand Tazmyn’s rage. Jylyn entered the hall a bound intruder but left as a trusted ally of the Centurion.

Abigail sees the appeal as her chance to make a difference and sets about to correct issues that exist between the girl and her parents even if it does ruffle some feathers. Using her power of dreams, she discovers a solution for Katharine, she must introduce her to another girl, Susan also burdened with issues of her own. The introduction of the two is just what both girls needed and it looks as though Abigail was able to make a difference.

Shannon and her friend Julie receive an invitation to experience an elaborate Halloween Haunted House, but there’s only lame and amateurish attractions, and girls are about to leave when they spot something odd.

A very elaborate and ornate invitation arrives at Shannon’s place, it is an exclusive showing of a world class haunted house, so the invitation reads. Shannon asks her old college roommate to go with her since neither has plans for Halloween. The two girls arrive, and they find a run-down building in the warehouse district, and signs proclaiming that this is the haunted house.

When they enter, they are surprised no one is there to welcome them as the door just opens by itself. Moving further into the building they are finally met by someone dressed as rat who leads them to the main ‘haunted exhibition’. Inside the exhibition is lame and amateurish and the girls feel they’ve been duped and make to leave.

Before the can leave the are led down a hallway an into a room, actually a wax museum. The museum has an average offering, but then they spot two wax figures that grab their eyes. One is a very erotic looking witch and the other an equally arousing vampire. Impressed with the two figures the girls decide to explore a bit further, to their horror as they pass the witch and the vampire, they are not wax figures at all, and the two spooky figures subdue them with some sort of tranquilizing mist and everything goes black.
