Leigh was at a party, in the kitchen watching Thursday Night Football sitting alone after an ugly breakup. One team punted, as a young woman entered the kitchen, a tall brunette in a black dress with long legs named Parker. Leigh fell in love in the third quarter.

A mid-forties college professor, Leigh, has a difficult time finding a lasting relationship. Every one she enters into, always seems to crash and burn. Partly Leigh’s fault and a lot due to the poor candidates she selects, now however she believes she has found the solution. While she was lamenting the sad state of her love life, an angel named Parker walks into her life. Was Parker the answer to her prayers?

Six month’s after Leigh and Parker are together, still madly in love, the two decide to celebrate their six months together at a high end hotel and hire some special entertainment to help with the celebration. When the entertainment arrives in the form of a beautiful dancer named Sage, she takes over as their personal Master of Ceremonies to make sure both Parker and Leigh the best anniversary ever.

A full year after Leigh and Parker first met, Leigh surprises Parker with a month long European vacation to Italy. Things are fantastic, and both women seem to be having the time of their lives. But Leigh begins to look a Parker with a jaundiced eye. Leigh begins to feel it’s just like the old saying: Familiarity Breeds Contempt, and the once solid relationship begins to melt away, leaving Leigh high and drive once again.

This blog has been a dream of mine for a very long time and hope you are not disappointed in the contents. A huge Beatles Fan, and James Bond fan. I currently have become interested in music by Charlotte Gainsbourg and Kelsea Ballerini. I have a real liking for Kay Scarpetta, by Patricia Cornwell.
