Riley, a high school teacher had a good friend offer to let her use her lake cabin during summer break. That first day, she took a canoe out on the lake and spied a cottage and a voluptuous woman on the deck sunbathing. Oddly she was waving at Riley to come visit.
The divorce had been emotionally nasty for Riley a high school teacher. The drunken bastard lied to her for five out of the six years they were married. Fortunately, they didn’t have any children so after the divorce, they agreed to split everything down the middle. Two years later, at 30, she was still single and harbored a hatred and lack of trust towards men.
As the summer break got closer Aubrey Jordan, another teacher at the school, middle aged and a good friend when she needed one, offered to let her use a cabin at Lake Temagami in northern Ontario. She knew Riley was a little strapped for cash and probably couldn’t afford a cruise or something like that, and she also knew she needed a well-deserved break.
Riley thought it would be an ideal place to inspire her to write her book and help heal some lingering personal hurts. Little knowing that she would quickly meet Jo, a fifty something free spirit that worshipped the sun, and the cute twenty year old clerk, Dylan, at the lake’s general store. Both Jo and Dylan showed Riley some beautiful scenery around the lake, shocked her with juicy secrets they shared with her; but left her little time to write.
