EVIL TORMENT DENIED

Sunny was on a private beach at the end of her road. Hidden behind about a half-acre of sea grass, it had a shoreline of about 200 feet. You had to know it was there, or else you’d never find it. What is the odds Brook, Wren’s Ex, would pick today to come here?

Wren and Sunny had been engaged after having dated for about a year. Wren’s house, which was on the Bay had a private beach at the end of her road. Wren and Sunny loved it, because it was so private. It was around 10:00 AM, the sun was pleasant and warmed their bodies while they kissed, hugged and caressed. Wren then reached for the suntan lotion and proceeded to apply it to Sunny’s back.

Applying suntan lotion to Sunny’s back was a sure way to get her attention Wren knew. The sound of the gentle waves, the sun caressing their bodies, Wren figured the mood was set for a romantic morning in the sun. She was so right. The morning passed quickly and the two lovers were asleep on their blanket when the noon sun became too much for Sunny and she told Wren asking for more suntan lotion, only to discover there wasn’t anymore.

Knowing they would need more or leave, Wren offered to walk home and get some more while Sunny waited under one of the trees out of the sun. The hypnotic sound of the water, the caressing sun lulled Sunny to stay where she was and soon drifted off. Moments later she is wakened by sand falling over her. When she looked up, she discovered the culprit was Brook, Wren’s former girlfriend and she didn’t look she wanted to say ‘HI!’ to Sunny.
