Whether it was a coincidence or not, Jill does show up at the party. Jill is treated like a pariah and quickly whisks Lori off for a private conversation. The conversation starts off intense, then as Jill humbly apologizes for hurting Lori, something in Lori changes. The anger is gone, but not the hurt. Jill leaves the party optimistic, and Lori is more confused than ever.
