Neighbors, Nadine a married woman with no children and Linda who has never been married meet accidently one morning while jogging. Though the two were neighbors their acquaintanceship had always been at arm’s length. That morning, however, Nadine shockingly friendly and engaged Linda into a protracted conversation as they walked to their cars.
The conversation moved to Linda’s home and the two shared a lot with each other in that safe environment. Nadine discovered that Linda was a writer of lesbian erotica, Linda discovered that Nadine and her husband David did not have a very satisfying married life, at least from Nadine’s point of view. As the two continued their chat, a bond began to build between them.
Eventually Linda even offered to share several of her published stories with Nadine since she had never read any erotica. Nadine reminded her new friend that she and her husband were fundamentalists Christians and wasn’t sure she should. But after only a gentle coaxing, Nadine relented and read some of her work while went to take a shower. When Linda rejoined her guest, it was changed Nadine sitting in Linda’s living room.
