Deborah graduated from high school and headed off to a Big 10 school and joined the women’s wrestling team. There she met a girl from her hometown, Lita, and through their participation in wrestling Deborah had to tell Lita about her unique abnormality, much to her surprise, Lita found the revelation quite interesting cementing their relationship forever.
After the two friends’ completed their sophomore year they were each given a trip to Europe by their parents. The girls took in the sights in Paris, even some things that they had never seen before, but were not shy about taking advantage of some of the more sensual activities only a place like Paris would have to offer. The second leg of their European excursion took them to Germany, where in Hamburg they traversed the Reeperbahn, a place made famous by the Beatles in the early 1960’s.
What they found there impressed them even more than the sights in Paris. They met an English-speaking German girl named Ingrid who showed them the sight and introduced them to her friend Helga, a former Olympic athlete. The four went clubbing the next night and during the conversation Lita and Deborah asked Helga what sport she competed in and learned of all thing Helga wrestle. As far as the two American girls were concerned it just didn’t get any better than that. Helga and Ingrid asked them to stay with them and maybe spend some time at the gym.
I am a writer, not an author. I write about current affairs, social issues and developing lifestyles. A trained philosopher, I have been enthralled with the Existentialists for many years. I have not made up my mind regarding New Wave culture. Only time will tell if it is for real.
From and early age I felt Lesbian romance is a much underserved segment in the literary world, and in feature cinema, etc. It generally is presented as a male fantasy and it dehumanizes the people that are the characters in the work. The world is changing and to some degree the gap that existed 30 years ago is being filled.
My vision for this Blog, is to treat the subject with an open mind. It will be explored from many angles, and many opinions. The state of LBGT community in the early 21st century is expanding. This expansion is a bit lopsided however, as 3 times as many females are self identifying with the lesbian of bisexual life style. This has fascinated me for some time and except for some minor exploration on my part I have The blog will feature as many elements of the subject, from around the world. This blog has been a dream of mine for a very long time and hope you are not disappointed in the contents.
A huge Beatles Fan, and James Bond fan. I currently have become interested in music by Charlotte Gainsbourg and Kelsea Ballerini. I have a real liking for Kay Scarpetta, by Patricia Cornwell.
